Where is Dios Padre, and what is Regency Silver exploring there?

· Regency Silver Corp.

Dios Padre is Regency Silver’s gold-copper-silver project near Yécora in Sonora, Mexico. Our drilling investigates a mineralized breccia system associated with the historic Dios Padre silver mine, including deeper gold-copper-rich mineralization. The project combines an established geological record with newer drilling that helps us assess the system’s shape, metal distribution and continuity. [1][3]

Where is Dios Padre, and why does its history matter?

Dios Padre is in the municipality of Yécora, in Mexico’s Sonora state. Its historical workings provide context for the silver mineralization that first brought attention to this part of the property. The March 2, 2023 Geological Report and Resource Estimate, prepared by Gordon Gibson, documents the property and its geological record. Our subsequent drilling releases add observations that were not available when that report was prepared. [1][3]

History is useful because it gives a geological team places, records and observations to investigate. For a reader arriving at Dios Padre for the first time, the important distinction is between the historic mine and the broader mineralized system our drilling is testing.

What does “mineralized breccia” mean here?

Breccia is rock made up of broken fragments held together by surrounding material. Calling it mineralized means that minerals of interest occur within that rock. Our June 2026 disclosure interprets Dios Padre as a magmatic-hydrothermal breccia system. [1]

The same release describes a vertical change in the metals encountered: silver-copper-rich mineralization at shallower depths and gold-copper-rich mineralization deeper in the system. It interprets that pattern as likely related to thermal gradation. In plain language, different parts of the mineral-forming system may have developed under different temperature conditions. The geological explanation helps guide understanding, while the drill results supply the observations against which it is tested. [1]

What did the 2025/2026 drilling examine?

Our complete 2025/2026 campaign comprised 14 holes totalling 9,375 metres. The June release describes step-out and infill drilling southeast and up-dip of previous high-grade intersections. Step-out drilling investigates beyond earlier intersections; infill drilling adds information between existing holes. Both help us assess how separate observations fit into a geological model. [1]

The release reports intersections of the breccia beneath the historic mine and describes its down-plunge extent as approximately 775 metres. That is a geological extent along the interpreted direction of the body, not a statement of vertical mine depth or an ore-reserve dimension. [1]

What is a useful example of a reported result?

Hole REG-26-35 returned 5.06 grams per tonne gold, 41.85 grams per tonne silver and 1.10% copper over a drilled interval of 36.35 metres, within a broader 96.00-metre interval averaging 2.08 grams per tonne gold. [1]

Read the interval qualification with those numbers. The release’s Table 1 footnote states: “Intervals estimated at 70–100% of true thickness; drilling near perpendicular to stratigraphy.” Its tables also specify metal-specific composite cut-offs and permitted dilution. Those reporting choices matter because a composite combines sample results into a reported interval. [1]

This is a drill result, not a mineral reserve, a production forecast or a valuation. Nor does the presence of gold, silver and copper establish recoveries or payable revenue for each metal. Investors should read the full tables, figures and qualifications before drawing comparisons with another hole or another company’s project.

How were samples checked?

The June release describes core logging, sawing and sampling, with retained half-core stored securely at the historic Dios Padre mill site. Samples were submitted to ALS Global’s analytical facility in Hermosillo, Mexico. Blanks, preparation duplicates and certified reference materials were inserted to monitor laboratory performance, and shipments followed a formal chain-of-custody procedure. [1]

Those procedures help readers understand how the reported measurements were produced. The release also identifies the analytical methods and reports that internal laboratory and external blind quality-control samples met acceptance criteria for the batch. Its technical content was reviewed and approved by Michael Tucker, P.Geo., a Regency director and NI 43-101 Qualified Person. [1]

How do the technical report and newer releases fit together?

Use the March 2023 technical report for its documented property background and resource methodology, then read subsequent releases for later drilling. This reading order also avoids a common misunderstanding: newer geological observations may extend the discussion beyond the area or evidence supporting an earlier estimate. To determine what has formally changed, look for an explicit updated estimate or report rather than trying to calculate contained metal from a sketch of the mineralized body.

What should investors follow next?

In our October 15, 2026 update, we described drilling as resuming following a technical review. The practical questions are straightforward: where was the new hole drilled relative to earlier work, what did it intersect, what qualifications accompany the result, and what does management say it changes? Our Dios Padre page is the starting point. The supporting reports and complete releases provide the detail needed to answer those questions.
